From 15-18 February 2012, I will expose some pictures from palaces of the soul, demons and blow-up series at Parallax, an art fair that will be held at Chelsea Town Hall, King’s Road, London.

During the last weeks, little by little I completely rewritten the statements of demons and blow-up series. My friend Davide Boschetto was a huge help to find the right expression and add a poetic touch to the statements. Thank you so much Davide!

A really good Spanish magazine dedicate to photography -Doze Magazine- just published in the 7th issue hyperbolsk (pdf 28Mb) a nice article about my Infinite Building series.
I partecipated to the International Photography Awards with some photos from Antarctica, The palaces of the soul, and Demons portfolios. All of them passed through the first of three rounds in the
jurying process and are now an Official Selection of the 2009 International Photography Awards.
The Antarctica photos also passed the second round, becoming an Honorable Mention and are eligible to compete for the third and final round to determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.
Some pictures of the series Demons and some of the series Palaces of the Soul are exposed in Art Madrid from 12 to 16 february by the gallery Manel Mayoral.
The Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts bought some photos from Antarctica for its permanent collection.
The prints will be exposed in Kiyosato at the beginning of the next year during the young portfolio exhibition.
During the National Geographic 2008 photo contest, two photographs from Antarctica were selected for publication on the italian National Geographic web site.
The selected shoots are sunset in Marambio and emperor penguin.
Is about to be published a new big book that tells the whole story of the agglomerations by Giacomo Costa. The book, 260 pages, is published by Damiani editore.
In the book there will two important texts: one by Sir Norman Foster and the other by Luca Beatrice (the curator of the Italy pavilion at the next Venice Biennale). Beatrice in his own text mentions some extracts from the interview with Giacomo Costa I wrote for Camera Obscura.
Several people during the last months asked me to modify the Camera Obscura page layout.
The current improvements includes: lighter page backround for easy reading, no tree photo header, bigger comments fonts, less evident meta and navigations controls, faster pages.
The brand new Italian photograph magazine Rear View Mirror, published in its first issue a selection of photos from Antarctica and some extracts from my travel diary.
